Founded in 1979, the Italian American Historical Society is devoted to researching, recording and preserving Italian history and culture.

Through generous private and institutional donations, the Society has accrued an impressive collection of personal papers, genealogies, photographs, books, newspapers, periodicals, and artifacts.

Also included in the collection are interviews recorded on audio and video tapes that recall the past and share nostalgia.

All of the valuable data is available for research and enjoyment. Chaperoned school tours are welcomed and encouraged. Admission is free.
