Profile of President

In 2003, Terese Gabucci became the fourth president of the Italian American Historical Society of Connecticut. Mrs. Gabucci was one of the twenty-three incorporators of the society back in 1979. For years, Gabucci has dedicated countless hours chairing the Annual "Distinguished Service Award Dinner" and other social programs. Terese has also applied her knowledge and skills by being actively involved in other organizations such as the Ladies of Marchegianan Society, the Sons of Italy, and the American Committee of Italian Migration. Terese has been married to her husband Harold for over fifty years and the couple has three children, Harold Jr., Mark, and Gina and a beloved grand daughter. The Gabucci's reside in Northford. Terese works part time for Arnolds Jeweler in North Haven.
