Our Mission

To embrace and preserve the history of our immigrant ancestors. This will allow future generations to more fully understand and appreciate past efforts and sacrifices which made it possible for us to be where we are today.

Our Goals

In general terms, it is the Society's intention to make available to the younger generation a knowledge of the Italian heritage at work here in America; to have collected in one place as complete a record as possible for the accomplishments and honors won by Italian Americans in Greater New haven, the state, and the country.

To make the assemblage of this knowledge and material more complete, the Society hopes to have a network of members whose active participation and feedback will be an integral part of the ongoing collecting process.
